TEHRAN: Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts to mediate in the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel. During a recent phone conversation, President Pezeshkian conveyed his gratitude to Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, for his country’s role in attempting to de-escalate tensions and prevent further aggression against Iran.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Iranian presidency released a statement detailing the hour-long call between the two leaders. President Pezeshkian emphasized the significance of Pakistan’s diplomatic intervention and underscored the importance of continued dialogue to address the hostilities in the region.
