Senator Khalil Tahir Sandhu Leads 3rd Punjab Inclusive Governance Summit 2026


Lahore: Senator Khalil Tahir Sandhu chaired the 3rd Punjab Inclusive Governance Summit 2026 at the Punjab Assembly, focusing on strengthening inclusive governance and minority participation across the province. Addressing over 500 participants from more than 90 Union Councils, Sandhu highlighted the significance of empowering minority communities in governance.



According to Senate of Pakistan, the summit recognized the efforts of Shahid Rehmat and the Youth Development Foundation (YDF) for their role in advancing the Minority Civic Agents Program, with support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). This initiative aims to bolster youth leadership and democratic engagement in Punjab.



Senator Sandhu underscored the importance of promoting equal participation of all communities in governance and public service delivery, emphasizing the need to empower the next generation of Minority Civic Agents.
