Senate and National Assembly Set to Resume Sessions in Islamabad


ISLAMABAD: The Senate and the National Assembly of Pakistan are scheduled to resume their sessions in Islamabad today. The Senate will convene at 11:30 a.m., followed by the National Assembly, which will begin its proceedings at 2:00 p.m. The agenda for both sessions includes discussions on matters of national significance and legislative business.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the sessions aim to address various issues impacting the nation while also progressing on pending legislative matters. Lawmakers from across the political spectrum are expected to participate in these discussions, which are crucial for the country’s governance and policy-making procedures.



The resumption of these sessions comes at a critical time as the government seeks to tackle ongoing challenges and implement legislative measures. Both houses of Parliament are anticipated to engage in comprehensive debates, reflecting the diverse perspectives and interests of their constituents.
