North Waziristan: Security forces effectively neutralized four Khwarij in two separate engagements in the North Waziristan District today. The operations were part of ongoing efforts to secure the region and prevent terrorist activities along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan. During this operation, the troops engaged the terrorists’ location, leading to an intense exchange of fire. As a result, two Khwarij were killed in the encounter.
In a separate incident, security forces detected the movement of another group of Khwarij attempting to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, also in the general area of Spinwam. The troops successfully engaged and thwarted this infiltration attempt, resulting in the elimination of two more Khwarij and the injury of two others.
Following these engagements, sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining Khwarij in the area. The security forces of Pakistan have reiterated their commitment to securing the country’s borders and eradicating terrorism.
