Security Forces Kill Five Khwarij in Lakki Marwat Operation

Lakki Marwat: Security forces have killed five members of the Khwarij, identified as part of an Indian proxy group known as Fitna al-Khwarij, during an intelligence-based operation in the Lakki Marwat District. The operation was executed today, resulting in the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the targeted individuals.

According to Radio Pakistan, the operation was carried out effectively by the troops who engaged the Khwarij location. The individuals were reportedly involved in several terrorist activities in the region. Following the operation, a sanitization effort is underway to ensure the area is free of any remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij.

This operation is part of a broader Counter Terrorism campaign under the initiative “Azm-e-Istehkam,” which was approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan. The campaign, conducted by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies, aims to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
