ISLAMABAD: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in partnership with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), is set to conduct a stakeholder webinar focused on converting Associations of Persons (AOPs) into companies within the steel sector. The session will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

According to Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the webinar aims to support business formalization by offering participants practical guidance on the legal, regulatory, and tax frameworks involved in corporatization. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with SECP and FBR officials to clarify the conversion process.

The event is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time and will be accessible virtually via Zoom or in person at Conference Room-358, Third Floor, FBR Headquarters, Islamabad. Business entities operating as AOPs, industry associations, and other stakeholders in the steel sector are encouraged to attend to gain insights into the corporatization process and related regulatory and tax issues.
