Rabat: Pakistan and Morocco have taken significant steps to enhance their strategic cooperation in the agricultural sector, following a meeting between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, and Morocco’s Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari. The discussions focused on expanding collaboration in agricultural trade, livestock development, and technical expertise exchange.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, underscoring the strong relations between the two nations. Both ministers reviewed current bilateral cooperation in agriculture and food security, expressing a commitment to further strengthen ties in areas of mutual interest. They agreed on maintaining close coordination to advance their agricultural partnership.

Federal Minister Hussain extended an invitation to Minister El Bouari for an official visit to Pakistan, which was warmly received. Both ministers conveyed confidence that such high-level exchanges would deepen bilateral ties and foster mutually beneficial cooperation in the agricultural sector.
