Islamabad: The process of depositing the second installment of Hajj dues is currently in progress throughout Pakistan under the Government Hajj Scheme. With a deadline approaching on the 20th of this month, prospective pilgrims are actively engaged in meeting the requirements to secure their participation in the annual pilgrimage.
According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs reported that 32,178 intending pilgrims under the Government scheme have successfully paid their second installment. The spokesperson emphasized the importance of adhering to the deadline for submission of dues and highlighted that 103,000 pilgrims have already uploaded their medical fitness certificates to the designated portal. The remaining participants are advised to obtain verification of their medical fitness forms from authorized doctors and complete the upload process promptly.
In parallel, the Private Hajj Scheme continues to operate, with bookings being facilitated through the Pak Hajj App. To date, 33,171 pilgrims have deposited their dues for the Private Scheme, although 38,500 seats are still available. The spokesperson urged pilgrims to utilize only the official Pak Hajj App or the Hajj Portal for any bookings and financial transactions to ensure a secure and organized pilgrimage experience.
