Saudi Business Council Chairman Explores Investment in Pakistan’s Motorway Projects


Islamabad: The Chairman of the Saudi Pakistan Joint Business Council, Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud, met with Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan’s infrastructure projects. During the meeting, Minister Khan invited Saudi investments in major motorway projects, including M6, M10, and M13, emphasizing their commercial viability and strategic importance.



According to Press Information Department, the discussions highlighted the potential for Saudi investments to play a significant role in Pakistan’s infrastructure development, with particular emphasis on the new motorways and transport networks. Prince Mansour expressed interest in exploring these opportunities, indicating the Saudi Business Council’s readiness to engage in partnerships within Pakistan’s infrastructure sectors.



Minister Khan assured the Saudi delegation that investment models would be profitable and support regional trade growth. He noted the strong historical ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the mutual benefits of increased collaboration. Prince Mansour conveyed optimism about future cooperation and the strengthening of bilateral relations through the Saudi Pakistan Business Council.
