Sanjrani and Bizenjo Converse on Balochistan’s Socio-economic Development and Unity Among Political Forces

Islamabad, 10 Oct 2023:A meeting held in Islamabad today brought together former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, and Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, to deliberate on the socio-economic circumstances prevailing in Balochistan. Also present were Senator Dilawar Khan, Senator Naseebullah Bazai, and Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran, providing a diverse range of perspectives during the discussions. According to a press release from Balochistan, the dialogue emphasized the development of Balochistan, collective political responsibility, and the importance of involving the region’s youth in the developmental process.

During the discussions, Sanjrani acknowledged the initiatives and development projects undertaken during Bizenjo’s tenure as Chief Minister, emphasizing the progress made under his leadership. Sanjrani underscored the importance of providing opportunities for Balochistan’s youth, enabling their active participation in the region’s development.

In the dialogue, unity emerged as a key theme, with Chairman Senate Sanjrani stressing the importance of consolidating all political forces to fulfill a collective responsibility towards the development of Balochistan. He remarked on the criticality of formulating a comprehensive plan, which would address the elimination of unemployment and poverty within the region.

Expressing gratitude towards Sanjrani, former Chief Minister Bizenjo acknowledged the continuous support and guidance provided by the Chairman Senate for the development of Balochistan. Bizenjo stated, “The Chairman Senate guided Balochistan Government at every step regarding development; always raised his voice for Balochistan in the Upper House, for which I am grateful.”

Both leaders affirmed a shared commitment towards collaborative working, with the intent to propel Balochistan towards further progress and prosperity. The discourse highlighted a consensus on the necessity for coordinated efforts in addressing the region’s socio-economic challenges.
