Riaz Pirzada fear as Yasin Malik may possibly be murdered through sham proceedings

Islamabad, May 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for Human Rights Riaz Pirzada has urged the world to take notice of the one-sided and dubious judicial trial of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik and his possible murder through the ongoing sham proceedings.

He was talking to media along with Yasin Malik’s wife Mashal Malik in Islamabad today (Sunday). The Minister expressed the fear that Indian authorities are running a sham trial against Yasin Malik on farcical grounds to award death sentence or life imprisonment to him. He said Pakistan will raise this issue at the Human Rights Council in Geneva and all other world forums.

Speaking on the occasion, Mashal Malik said Kashmir is a disputed territory as per UN resolutions and the world community has the jurisdiction to play its role to save the life of Yasin Malik. The Federal Minister questioned why the world is keeping mum on the Indian atrocities in Kashmir. Riaz Pirzada added that there are 8,000 mass graves in Kashmir and 10,000 youths are missing. He said that there are strict restrictions on media in Kashmir, journalists cannot report.
