Islamabad: The repatriation of Afghan nationals from Pakistan has reached a significant milestone, with nearly one million individuals having returned to their home country. This follows the expiration of a government deadline for illegal residents and Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) holders to leave Pakistan.

On April 12, authorities facilitated the return of over 7,025 undocumented Afghan nationals, contributing to a cumulative total of 935,870 repatriations. The process has been marked by a commitment to ensuring a respectful and orderly return for all involved.
