Jammu, June 17, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a rapist who had gone underground after allegedly committing the heinous crime of rape in June 2017. Team of Arnas-Reasi Police Station arrested an accused Manish Thakur S/O Tirath Ram R/O Chassana Mahore district Reasi who was absconding to avoid investigation and his arrest in case FIR no 53/2017 U/S 452,376, 506 RPC Police Station Chassana, after committing the heinous crime against a 17-year-old girl on 03 June 2017. Thakur had reportedly gone underground and was continuously changing his hideouts in Mahore, Basholi and Himachal Pradesh, however the police succeeded in arresting him from Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
