Rank-Pinning Ceremony Celebrates Promotion of 12 Police Officers at Police Lines Headquarters


ISLAMABAD: A formal ceremony was conducted at the Police Lines Headquarters to recognize the promotion of 12 police officers to higher ranks. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, along with senior officials, including AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani and SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen, participated in the event, officially pinning the new ranks on the officers.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the DIG Headquarters extended congratulations to the promoted officers, encouraging them to embrace their increased responsibilities. He conveyed that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has prioritized filling all vacant positions through promotions.



The DIG emphasized that the officers’ promotions are a testament to their dedication, urging them to uphold their duties with excellence. He highlighted the importance of serving the community and ensuring justice for citizens as top priorities. The officers were encouraged to be a source of support for the public and to continue their service with commitment and integrity.



He concluded the ceremony with a message of hope, expressing confidence in the officers’ ability to maintain their dedication and public service spirit.
