Rahul Gandhi’s Critiques of Modi and RSS Removed from Parliament Records

New Delhi: In an unusual parliamentary move, comments made by Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi critiquing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP, and the RSS were expunged from the Lok Sabha records. This action followed Gandhi’s forceful speech addressing several contentious national issues.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during the debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s address, Gandhi condemned the Indian government’s policies, including the Agnipath military recruitment scheme and irregularities in national tests like NEET and UGC-NET. He accused the ruling party of instigating violence and spreading hatred towards minority communities. Additionally, specific remarks involving high-profile industrialists and Modi’s election campaign statements were also removed from the official record, signaling significant sensitivities within the parliamentary discourse.
