Quetta: Provincial Minister for Communications and Construction, Mir Saleem Ahmad Khosa, emphasized the critical role of his department in enhancing the province’s infrastructure, advocating for timely and efficient completion of development projects to spur regional prosperity.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting, which included Secretary Communications and Construction Lal Jan Jafar and other high-ranking officials, focused on addressing challenges impeding project completion, particularly funding issues. Secretary Jafar underscored the priority to resolve these obstacles swiftly to accelerate the development process. The minister urged the department to enhance operational efficiency and tackle technical issues promptly.

Minister Khosa also highlighted the necessity for meticulous preliminary surveys before initiating any project to ensure flawless execution and long-term success. He reinforced the importance of merit in personnel decisions within the department and announced his personal oversight on ongoing projects to guarantee no laxity in standards. The commitment extends to all sectors under his purview, from road construction to building works, with an aim to provide modern amenities to the province’s residents.
