Islamabad, 12 Oct 2023:In a meeting with Pakistan’s Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi today, Chief of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant General Salem Hamad Eqail Al-Nabet extended appreciation for the Pakistan Army’s ongoing efforts towards peace and stability in the region, according to a MOIB press release.
Matters of mutual and professional interest, as well as the regional security situation, were discussed during the meeting. General Munir communicated that Pakistan values its fraternal relations with Qatar and anticipates augmented defense and security cooperation between the armed forces of both nations. Lieutenant General Al-Nabet acknowledged the efforts of the Pakistan Army and committed to continuing work towards improved relations between the two countries.
