Lahore: The Punjab Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) is set to hold a pivotal meeting tomorrow to address key administrative and technical matters. Scheduled for 2:00 PM at the Authority Office in Township, Lahore, the meeting will be presided over by Chairman Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting will cover significant agenda items concerning WASA and its associated agencies. DG WASA Punjab Tayyab Farid is expected to present these items. The gathering will include participation from Secretary Housing Punjab Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, Secretary Local Government, and Secretary Finance. Technical experts from the water and sanitation sector are also slated to join the discussions.
Managing Directors of all WASA agencies in Punjab will attend the meeting virtually, alongside the Principal of Al-Jazari Water and Sanitation Academy. The agenda includes a review of administrative, technical, and service delivery matters, with an aim to enhance water and sanitation services throughout Punjab and to improve coordination and performance among WASA agencies.
