Rajanpur: Punjab Police has provided a house worth Rs. 13.5 million to the family of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Rafiq, who was killed in the line of duty. The house, located in the Garhi Sultan Shah area of Rajanpur, was purchased according to the family’s preference.
According to Punjab Police, the Government of Punjab released the necessary funds to secure the home for the martyr’s family. Constable Muhammad Rafiq died in 2024 after being shot by dacoits while on duty in the Katcha area. He is survived by his wife, seven daughters, and one son.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, honored the sacrifice of Constable Rafiq, stating that the Punjab Police will always remember the contributions of its over 1,700 martyrs. He emphasized that the welfare of their families remains a top priority.
