Punjab Police Provides Home to Family of Martyred Constable in Multan


Multan: Punjab Police has provided a house valued at Rs 13.5 million to the family of Constable Muhammad Haji, who was killed in the line of duty. The house, located in Satellite Town, Multan, was selected based on the preferences of the late officer’s family.



According to Punjab Police, the Government of Punjab allocated the necessary funds to secure the home for the family. Constable Muhammad Haji was shot by dacoits while on duty in the Katcha area in 2024. He is survived by his wife, three sons, and two daughters.



IG Punjab Abdul Kareem emphasized the importance of honoring the sacrifices of officers like Constable Muhammad Haji. He stated that the welfare of the families of the over 1,700 martyrs is a top priority for Punjab Police, underscoring the agency’s commitment to supporting the families of those who have given their lives in service.
