Punjab Police Promotes 53 Senior Clerks to Assistants


Lahore: In a significant development, 53 Senior Clerks within the Punjab Police have been promoted to the rank of Assistant. This advancement is part of an ongoing process of departmental promotions within the police force, as directed by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem.



According to Punjab Police, the promotions were approved during a meeting of the Promotion Board at the Central Police Office. The meeting was chaired by DIG Establishment-II, Shariq Kamal Siddiqui, and attended by AIG Admin Farooq Sultan, Deputy Director Humair Ahmad, and AD Admin Iftikhar Anwar. The newly promoted Assistants will take on their roles following a notification issued by AIG Admin. The promotion process is based on merit, seniority, and adherence to rules and regulations.



IG Punjab Abdul Kareem extended his congratulations to the newly promoted staff, emphasizing the increased responsibilities and dedication required in their new roles. He affirmed the commitment to continue promotions based on performance and competence. The list of promoted officials includes Zafar Iqbal, Aamir Ali Shah, and several others serving in various offices of the Punjab Police.
