Punjab Police Neutralize Two Notorious Criminals in Rahim Yar Khan Operation

Rahim Yar Khan: In a significant operation against crime in the Kacha area, Punjab Police successfully eliminated two dangerous criminals, Badla Manglani and Qasim Chachar, during an intelligence-led operation in Kacha Jamal Din Wali. These criminals were implicated in multiple violent crimes, including the killings of police personnel.

According to Punjab Police, the operation was triggered by credible intelligence about the presence of Manglani and Chachar in the mango orchards of Kacha Jamal Din Wali. The police response was met with heavy gunfire from the criminals, leading to a shootout that resulted in their deaths. Both were wanted in numerous cases across Rahim Yar Khan and Ghotki districts, including robbery, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, and the murders of Constable Akbar Gopang and ASI Amanullah Abro.

The operation, which involved key police figures such as In-charge CIA Bhong Jibran Jerad and In-charge Chowki Jamal Din Wali, utilized armored vehicles and culminated in the recovery of Kalashnikovs, ammunition, and a stolen motorcycle from the site. The bodies of the deceased were transferred to a hospital for legal proceedings, and a thorough search operation is currently underway in the region.

IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, commended DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal and his team for their effectiveness in dealing with Kacha criminals and emphasized the importance of continuing such intelligence-based operations to secure the area from further criminal activities.
