SHEIKHUPURA: Another member of the Punjab Police has been killed in the line of duty. Constable Sagar Nishan, part of the Crime Control Division (CCD) in Sheikhupura, was fatally shot by suspects during an official operation.

According to Punjab Police, Constable Nishan was engaged in reconnaissance activities based on intelligence reports when he was attacked by a criminal gang. Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem honored the sacrifice of Constable Nishan, acknowledging the bravery and dedication of the martyrs of the Punjab Police. IG Kareem emphasized the importance of remembering their contributions and assured the martyr’s family of the police department’s unwavering support. He instructed officers to prioritize the welfare of the fallen officer’s family, underscoring the significance of such sacrifices for the community and the nation.
