Lahore: The Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education has initiated leadership changes at two prominent government teaching hospitals in Punjab. Prof. Dr. Hafiz Moinuddin has been removed from his roles as Medical Superintendent and Professor of Anatomy at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore, and Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, respectively. Dr. Zeeshan Haider has been assigned additional responsibilities as the Medical Superintendent of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore, effective immediately.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Afghan has also been removed from his position as Medical Superintendent of Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan. Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal has been appointed to temporarily oversee the position alongside his current duties. Both leadership changes are effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice.
