Islamabad, Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, inaugurated the ‘Sikh Yatra’ booking portal, designed to facilitate Sikh pilgrims with online hotel and vehicle bookings. This portal aims to ease travel arrangements for religious pilgrims visiting the region.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reports that the portal will allow Sikh yatrees (pilgrims) to select vehicles for travel and hire security services. Chief Minister Naqvi highlighted that the portal is part of a broader initiative to promote religious tourism in Punjab.
Dr. Mimpal Singh, a member of the Parbandhak Committee, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the establishment of the Sikh Yatra booking portal, marking a significant step towards enhancing the religious tourism experience in Punjab.
