Punjab Government Enhances Emergency Services, Introduces Air Ambulance

Lahore, Provincial Minister of Health and Emergency Services Khawaja Salman Rafiq recently chaired a comprehensive meeting at the Emergency Head Office, discussing various enhancements to the region’s emergency services. The session covered the performance of the motorbike service, the rollout of air ambulance services, and several annual development projects.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting also reviewed the life saver program and emergency services on the motorway. Provincial Health Minister Rafique, who later toured the Emergency Response Center, emphasized the department’s dedication to public welfare and the significance of field staff capacity building. The introduction of air ambulance service by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif was highlighted as a major benefit to the populace. The meeting also noted ongoing improvements to the motorbike service and weekly reviews of public projects by the department.

Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq remarked on the department’s commitment to enhancing the provision of emergency services, reflecting on the two million citizens already served. Steps are being taken to improve response times and resource availability across Punjab.
