LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has awarded CM Merit Badges to Special Assistant Shoaib Mirza and Lahore Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Ali Ejaz for their public service during recent emergencies. At a ceremony, the chief minister personally acknowledged their contributions.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Special Assistant Shoaib Mirza managed relief operations after floods impacted villages in Muridke and Ferozewala, overseeing the rescue of numerous individuals and providing essential resources. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Ali Ejaz was noted for his immediate response to a roof collapse in Harbanspura, aiding in the rescue of five individuals.
Chief Minister Sharif commended both officials for their commitment and urged them to maintain their dedication to public service. She emphasized the importance of officials being present with the community during crises and expressed pride in having such dedicated team members.
