Provincial Minister Lauds PPP’s Commitment to Balochistan During Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s Visit to Quetta

Quetta: During a welcoming event for Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Quetta, Provincial Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development, Bakht Mohammad Kakar, highlighted the longstanding relationship between the PPP and the people of Balochistan, describing it as a deep, generational bond.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Kakar praised the PPP’s dedication to the province, noting that the party views Balochistan as a second home and is attuned to its specific challenges. He emphasized the party’s role in advocating for the poor and its consistent efforts to voice provincial concerns across various platforms.

The minister also pointed to significant contributions by the PPP towards regional development, including the Balochistan package aimed at boosting employment opportunities for local youth, thereby significantly reducing their frustration. He further credited the party with the implementation of the eighteenth amendment, which has enhanced provincial autonomy and contributed to poverty alleviation through initiatives like the income support program.
