Lahore: Khawaja Salman Rafique, Provincial Minister and Chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, met with Mufti Abdul Rahim, Chancellor of Al-Ghazali University and Patron-in-Chief of Jamia-tur-Rasheed, to discuss the promotion of unity among Muslims. The meeting also included Engineer Mufti Dr. Usman Yousuf, Maulana Salman Abid, and Maulana Sufyan Ali Lahori.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the discussions emphasized the significant role of religious institutions like Jamia-tur-Rasheed in societal reform. Khawaja Salman Rafique highlighted the efforts made under the vision of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to enhance unity among Muslims and foster interfaith harmony. Mufti Abdul Rahim praised the Punjab Government’s effective measures to maintain peace.
