Jammu, January 21, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, protests were taken out in the Rajouri and Kishtwar areas against the land eviction drive of the authorities. Hundreds of civil society members and National Conference workers under the chairmanship of Yashu Vardhan Singh assembled near Bus Stand, Kalakote, and raised slogans against the draconian order of the authorities.
In Kishtwar, hundreds of people led by the workers of the Democratic Azad Party staged a protest asking the authorities to roll back the order. Talking to reporters in Kalakote, Yashu Vardhan criticized the administration for rendering the people homeless in the name of anti-encroachment drives. He said the authorities have crossed all the limits on all fronts creating miserable conditions for the poor people.
