Islamabad: On International Women’s Day, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the national responsibility of safeguarding women’s rights. He asserted that the rights afforded to women by Islam are unmatched and stressed the importance of societies respecting women’s dignity for progress.

According to Press Information Department, Naqvi highlighted that equal opportunities in education, employment, and advancement are fundamental rights for women. He underscored the significance of women’s participation in practical fields as essential to social development and stated that recognizing women’s strength is crucial for achieving progress.

Naqvi pointed out that despite constituting half of the population, women continue to face violence and discrimination. He called for strong opposition to these issues and reiterated the government’s commitment to creating a better, safer, and more progressive environment for women in Pakistan.
