Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended the police for successfully thwarting a terrorist attack on the Lakhani border check post in Dera Ghazi Khan. The minister recognized the efforts of the Dera Ghazi Khan police team for their decisive action against the attack.

According to Press Information Department, Naqvi praised the police for confronting the attackers, identified as Khawarij terrorists, and repelling the assault. He noted the professionalism exhibited by the Punjab Police during the encounter and their ability to counter the threat effectively.

Naqvi highlighted the history of the Dera Ghazi Khan police in facing similar threats and acknowledged their bravery in past incidents. He expressed pride in the dedication and courage displayed by the police personnel in safeguarding the region from terrorist activities.
