Prince Rahim Aga Khan Arrives in Islamabad for Official Visit


ISLAMABAD: Prince Rahim Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of the Ismaili community, arrived in Islamabad today for his first official visit to Pakistan. The visit marks an important moment for the Ismaili community as it is his inaugural visit since assuming his leadership role.



According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari welcomed Prince Rahim Aga Khan at the airport. Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, along with other officials, were also present to greet the distinguished guest. Children in traditional Pakistani attire presented flower bouquets to the prince upon his arrival.



Prince Rahim Aga Khan is scheduled to visit Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral tomorrow. During his visit, he will engage with members of the Ismaili community and participate in religious and spiritual gatherings. His visit to Pakistan will continue until Tuesday.
