Beijing: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is currently in Beijing for the second phase of his official visit to China, where he is expected to engage in high-level discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. The meetings are set to focus on enhancing the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and furthering cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Phase-II, with particular emphasis on trade, investment, industry, agriculture, science and technology, and people-to-people exchanges.
According to Radio Pakistan, the visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, highlighting the long-standing ties between the two nations. The discussions are aimed at bolstering bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration in several key sectors.
