Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday conveyed Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to H.E. Dr. Denis Becirovic, a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency. During a telephone conversation, Prime Minister Sharif extended his best wishes for peace, progress, and prosperity to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dr. Becirovic reciprocated the warm sentiments.

The Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to its long-standing and fraternal relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. He expressed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Bosnia and reaffirmed a commitment to enhancing bilateral ties, with a particular focus on trade, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

Both leaders agreed on the importance of maintaining regular dialogue and cooperation. Prime Minister Sharif reiterated an invitation for Dr. Becirovic to visit Pakistan, which the Bosnian leader accepted. In turn, Dr. Becirovic invited Prime Minister Sharif to visit Bosnia, further solidifying the bond between the two nations.

The conversation underscores the mutual desire to strengthen diplomatic, economic, and cultural connections between Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
