Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephonic conversation with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, where he extended Eid greetings and conveyed best wishes to the people of Kazakhstan.
During the call, the two leaders reviewed the status of bilateral relations, discussing upcoming engagements and regional interests. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the strengthening ties and explored avenues for enhancing cooperation in areas such as agriculture, trade, investment, IT, and connectivity.
The conversation highlighted the increased number of structured engagements between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, underscoring a mutual commitment to fully realize the potential of their bilateral cooperation.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed anticipation for a high-level Kazakh delegation’s visit to Pakistan in May and looked forward to President Tokayev’s visit later in the year. These exchanges are seen as pivotal in furthering the cooperation between the two nations.
