Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephone conversation with King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain on Monday, extending Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the monarch, the Royal Family, and the people of Bahrain.
During the call, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Bahrain. He expressed a strong desire to enhance the cordial relations between the two nations, focusing particularly on trade and investment opportunities.
The Prime Minister also conveyed his appreciation to the Bahraini leadership for their support of the Pakistani community residing in Bahrain, highlighting their contribution to the development of both countries.
King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa returned the Eid greetings, offering his best wishes to the people of Pakistan during this festive period.
Concluding the conversation, Prime Minister Sharif reiterated an invitation for King Hamad to visit Pakistan, hoping to welcome him officially at the earliest possible opportunity.
