New York: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that the government is actively working to empower the youth in Pakistan by offering training in information technology, artificial intelligence, and other modern skills. These efforts aim to equip young people with the necessary tools to drive the country’s future prosperity.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister made these remarks while meeting with delegations of the Pakistani community and youth residing in the United States. During these discussions, he emphasized initiatives such as the continuation of laptop distributions and scholarships to talented young individuals. These programs, which began during his tenure as Chief Minister of Punjab, also include providing educational opportunities to economically disadvantaged students through Daanish Schools. He further mentioned the establishment of a world-class Daanish University.

Prime Minister Sharif also highlighted that talented Pakistani youth living abroad bring pride to the nation. He expressed his belief that the country’s destiny can be reshaped by its young population. The youth attending the meetings expressed their support for the Prime Minister’s initiatives, particularly those focused on information technology and easing business opportunities.
