NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that the government is fostering a favorable environment to enhance investment and business activities within the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister made these remarks during meetings in New York with delegations of Pakistani business leaders and professionals based in the United States. These groups represent sectors including information technology, artificial intelligence, automobiles, energy, and construction. Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the role of these business leaders and professionals as ambassadors of Pakistan, contributing to the country’s positive image globally and extended an invitation for them to invest in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue have addressed issues faced by the business community, and emphasized the government’s priority measures to promote innovation in the agricultural sector and accelerate its development. The visiting business leaders and professionals expressed their appreciation for the Prime Minister’s leadership and commended the government’s initiatives in agriculture, industry, exports, and particularly the reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue.
