Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached out to several political and government figures to exchange Eid-ul-Azha greetings. The Prime Minister engaged in separate telephone conversations with senior government officials and political leaders to convey his wishes.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif contacted President Asif Ali Zardari, as well as governors and chief ministers from various provinces, including Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Gilgit-Baltistan. He extended Eid greetings to Abdul Aleem Khan of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, Khalid Magsi of the Balochistan Awami Party, and Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao of the Qaumi Watan Party.
During these interactions, the Prime Minister prayed for the peace, progress, and stability of Pakistan. Discussions also included the political situation in the country, emphasizing the importance of effective coordination between the federal government and provincial entities.
Prime Minister Sharif also reached out to prominent political figures such as Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and leaders of various other political parties. He reiterated the federal government’s commitment to work with provinces to provide relief to the populace, highlighting the cooperation needed for national unity and harmony.
