Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. They discussed regional peace initiatives and Qatar’s support for Pakistan’s efforts in these areas.

They reviewed the regional situation and ongoing peace efforts, emphasizing the importance of engagement by all parties to ensure success. Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude for Qatar’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s peace initiatives, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations.

Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his regards to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, and expressed anticipation for the Amir’s upcoming visit to Pakistan. This visit is expected to enhance the Pakistan-Qatar partnership.
