Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Quetta for a day-long visit, focused on meetings with local officials and an important announcement regarding agricultural support.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti upon his arrival at the airport. His itinerary includes meetings with both the Governor and the Chief Minister, along with other members of the Balochistan Cabinet.

A significant part of the Prime Minister’s visit will be the announcement of a substantial package, jointly funded by the federal and Balochistan governments, aimed at the development and prosperity of Balochistan’s farmers. This initiative is expected to bring considerable benefits to the agricultural sector in the region. During his visit, the Prime Minister will also address the media and meet with Members of Parliament from Balochistan, further underscoring the federal government’s commitment to the province’s development.
