Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to fostering peace, tolerance, and social harmony, emphasizing that these elements are crucial for establishing a more inclusive and prosperous society. In a message delivered on the International Day of Living Together in Peace, he highlighted the significance of building peaceful and united societies both nationally and internationally.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister reflected on the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to principles of honesty and fair play in its domestic and global interactions. He pledged that the nation will continue to contribute significantly to the promotion of peace and prosperity, both within its borders and beyond.

Shehbaz Sharif pointed to Pakistan’s rich diversity in languages, cultures, and civilizational traditions as a key source of national strength. He mentioned initiatives like Paigham-e-Pakistan, which aims to foster national unity and combat ideological extremism. Additionally, the Prime Minister outlined several government measures designed to enhance social cohesion, including the National Action Plan on Human Rights, the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, and the Human Rights Awareness Programme.
