Islamabad: The Asian Development Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank have announced their support for Pakistan’s Panda bond issuance, which aims to finance the country’s Sustainable and Green Infrastructure Project. This collaboration marks a significant step in broadening Pakistan’s access to international capital markets.
According to a press release from Radio Pakistan, ADB Director General for Central and West Asia Leah Gutierrez emphasized the impact of the bond in enhancing Pakistan’s connectivity with global financial avenues. The initiative is expected to facilitate the development of sustainable infrastructure across the nation, aligning with broader environmental objectives.
