Pak-Canada Innovation Corridor Networking Event Held in Vancouver


VANCOUVER: The Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver, in partnership with the Pakistan-Canada Trade Association, recently hosted the “Pakistan-Canada Innovation Corridor” networking event. The gathering aimed to foster connections between Pakistan and Canada in areas such as trade, technology, investment, and innovation.



According to Radio Pakistan, Consul General Shahzad Hussain highlighted Pakistan’s engagement in the upcoming Web Summit Vancouver 2026 as a key opportunity for Pakistani IT companies to gain exposure to the North American, especially Canadian, market. He also expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Software Export Board for its role in sponsoring the delegation. Trade and Investment Counselor Altamash Janjua provided insights into the potential for collaboration between Pakistan and Canada in the IT sector. Participants at the event exchanged ideas to further enhance bilateral linkages in various domains.
