Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Advocates for Enhanced Support to Foreign Investors in Islamabad

Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif affirmed the government’s commitment to providing maximum support to foreign investors and the business community, aiming to foster job creation, export growth, and overall economic development. This declaration was made during his meeting with a delegation from international beverage companies in Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the encouraging outcomes of the government’s business-friendly policies and called on multinational corporations to engage positively under their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. He directed relevant officials to collaborate closely with the multinational companies to address any challenges they face, based on their proposals.

The delegation, which included leaders from the regional sectors of Coca Cola and Pepsico, praised the government’s supportive stance and shared insights into their substantial contributions to the Pakistani economy. They reported operating 25 factories in Pakistan, directly employing 130,000 individuals, and running the country’s largest recycling system, besides making significant tax contributions annually.
