Prime Minister Sharif and Qatar’s Sheikh Al Thani Discuss Middle East Peace Efforts


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephone discussion with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, to deliberate on bilateral cooperation and the evolving situation in the Middle East.



According to Press Information Department, the conversation centered on Pakistan’s ongoing peace efforts in the region. Prime Minister Sharif expressed appreciation for Qatar’s support for these initiatives and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy. Both leaders emphasized the importance of sustained international efforts to maintain the ceasefire, prevent further escalation, and restore stability across the Middle East. Prime Minister Sharif also extended his warm regards to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar.
