ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has conveyed his appreciation to international allies who have acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in promoting global peace. The acknowledgment came as the nation prepared for the upcoming Islamabad Talks, highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to resolving conflicts through diplomacy.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister extended particular thanks to countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Egypt, and Qatar for their support in pursuing a ceasefire. He emphasized the importance of peaceful diplomatic efforts in achieving a comprehensive resolution to ongoing conflicts.
Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his gratitude to the Gulf Cooperation Council for its consistent support and dedication to regional peace and stability. Additionally, he noted the strategic foresight and patience demonstrated by the leadership of these countries, alongside the United States, in prioritizing peace efforts.
The Prime Minister concluded by urging continued collaboration to establish enduring peace in the region and beyond.
