Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that his government is actively implementing strategies to boost tourism throughout Pakistan. In a statement released on World Tourism Day, he underscored the administration’s dedication to positioning Pakistan as a secure and appealing destination for tourists worldwide.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s diverse offerings, including its moderate climate, scenic mountain landscapes, and picturesque valleys, which have the potential to attract global visitors. He emphasized that the nation is home to numerous historically significant and sacred sites, which hold great importance for followers of Sikhism, Buddhism, and other faiths.

Prime Minister Sharif further noted that the promotion of tourism not only contributes to economic growth but also fosters stronger international relationships. He added that, on a personal level, exposure to various cultures can broaden individuals’ perspectives and enhance human potential.
