ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to enhance security at religious sites, the Islamabad Police, under the directive of Inspector General of Police Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, has implemented comprehensive measures to ensure the safety of churches throughout the federal capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Senior Superintendent of Police Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, actively oversaw security arrangements on Sunday by visiting several churches in the district. During these visits, he assessed the performance of officers on duty and provided instructions to bolster security protocols.

SSP Operations Raza conducted inspections of various aspects of the security plan, such as the management of entry and exit points, parking areas, and the strategic deployment of police personnel around the churches. In discussions with church administrations, he emphasized the police’s dedication to safeguarding the lives and properties of individuals from all religious backgrounds.

He also called upon the community to assist law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities or individuals to local police stations or through the emergency helpline, PUCAR-15.
